At Roche, we combine integrated safety and health procedures with quality construction operations for the prevention of accidents, injuries, and illnesses. Safety and health procedures are actually “built in” to our construction operations. Under the direction of our Director of Safety and Health, we achieve the three objectives of safe, quality production; 100% OSHA compliance; and zero accidents. We are dedicated to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees on our projects. Roche's exemplary safety record is a direct result of our corporate commitment to safety.

Voluntary Protection Partner (VPP) Challenge Pilot Program
In 2006, Roche completed Stage III of the OSHA Challenge Pilot Program for work performed in Region VIII. At the time, Roche was one of the first companies in the nation to reach this milestone achievement. Our Challenge Administrator was Associated Builders and Contractors. We have been a member of the VPP Participants’ Association since 2007. Our next step is to apply directly to OSHA for participation in the Agency’s Voluntary Protection Program.

Occupational Excellence Achievement Award

• Award recognizes companies that have reported injuries and illnesses that involved days away from work equal to or less than 50% of the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ rating for their 6-digit NAICS code and have had no fatalities during a calendar year.
